After the wonder of the Church of Saint Ignatius of Loyola and the awesome views from the top of Il Vittoriano it was time to find out where the Twitter followers would send us next? A quick recap. Today, A Perfect Day Live in Rome, would be guided by my Twitter followers and those of British Airways as we went from place to place. You got to choose where I went next 
We noticed many of you saying ‘go and relax, have a coffee in Piazza Navona’! So yes… off I went. Entering the piazza through a small narrow typical street found in Rome the way forward suddenly opened up. The sun shone down and the large open piazza was bustling with music, monuments, people and a wonderful vibe. Plenty of cafes and restaurants align the sides, perfect time for a cappuccino… you know, ‘when in Rome’…. ;D
2000 years or so ago this city square was a stadium that Romans, in 1 AD would have watched games. In fact the shape of the square seen today follows the pattern of the stadium. The buildings all around it give a real feeling of grandeur. Much of it built in the 17th Century.
Through the middle are some sculptures and monuments of a great age, art, and skill. Very noteworthy and remarkable to see first hand. As I entered the square the eyes immediately got struck by The Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers).
You can sit and relax or walk slowly around the piazza and combined with the bustling and happy atmosphere I found myself learning history all whilst relaxing in the sun. It was time to sit down a few minutes myself, that great Italian coffee was waiting. I couldn’t think of many better places to sit, enjoy a coffee and to watch the world go by.
